INVESTMENT FROM INTRACORP CAPITAL STRENGTHENS HOLTZINGER FRUIT COMPANY FOR FUTURE GROWTH

SEATTLE, SEPTEMBER 29, 2004 — Seattle-based Intracorp Capital announces its first acquisition into the food industry, with a management-led buyout of Holtzinger Fruit Company of Yakima, Washington. Holtzinger Fruit Company has a well-established reputation, built upon 96 years of experience packing, shipping and marketing quality apples, pears and cherries around the world.

Holtzinger Fruit Company, which recently secured an exclusive contract to internationally market apples, pears and cherries under the Green Giant® label, has divested nearly all of its company-owned orchards and is clearly focused on delivering robust and consistent returns to its growers.

Mark Holtzinger, president and CEO. “It also completes our family succession planning initiatives, adds world-class talent to our board of directors and allows our management team to become even more focused on executing our long-term growth strategy.”

Among the opportunities being evaluated are a new cherry packing facility for the 2006 season and several expansion plans for the company’s apple packing and storage operations.
